Resources

To establish new groups and to train volunteers, twinning programs are available. Mature Reach to Recovery Groups provide training, facilitation skills, and key ideas for patient visits and help to develop training programmes best suited to particular needs. A variety of training and educational resources are available through this website, including those focusing on peer support, starting an RRI group in your community, and training volunteers . If you have a valuable resource you would like to share with the RRI community, please contact us

Bloom, the Reach to Recovery International newsletter, promotes the exchange of current information on training, advocacy, research, volunteer and peer support. It allows women who have lived through breast cancer to tell their stories and share their emotional and psychological experiences. It reports on how groups organize programmes to develop breast cancer awareness in their community and give support to cancer patients. Bloom is published quarterly and distributed by email, free of charge, to all Reach to Recovery members and interested groups and individuals. Click here for more information and to download the latest edition of Bloom.

International and regional conferences are hosted by Reach to Recovery groups every two years. At these Conferences, participants pool their knowledge and experience to make the Reach to Recovery approach more effective. Participation is open to all interested groups and individuals. Click here for more information on past and future Reach to Recovery Conferences.
